Background: He grew up in a stable, Christian family. Though not living in wealth, they were not in want. He did well in school, taking an interest in music, especially the guitar. Early on, he was already doing very well and was encouraged to pursue music beyond high school. Meeting up with Erik Wiley, he joined a band, while getting a job on the side at a factory, hoping to someday make it with music. Later when the band hooked up with Kyle Mitts, he decided to stay on and go with them.
