Background: Grew up in a well-off family with a better-than-average income. Conservative and lovely, she was an obedient child, but did fancy adventure and loved reading of fairytales, often caught daydreaming about what her own fairytale might look like. In junior high, she met Zan Wicklow - the perfect prince charming. By high school they were dating, much to the dismay of her parents. Zan was several years her elder, and known for causing a bit of trouble. They forbade her to see him, but she continued anyway, even after he'd graduated. Once she, herself, had graduated, she chose a local college to attend. And when her parents finally told her they would no longer support her if she continued to see Zan, she left home. Staying with Zan for several weeks, she then found her own apartment, refusing to give him up, in spite of it putting a wedge between herself and her parents. It wasn't much later that on a late night date with Zan, they were involved in a bad car accident. Zan received only cuts and bruises, but she was left in a coma with little hope of recovery.
