Background: Though his home life was not bad growing up, a Christian influence was lacking, leading to a rough path, made with wrong choices. Marrying young, life became even harder, his route was almost opposite that of his brother's. Struggling through marriage for several years, it was Mark who finally brought him to the Lord. But despite a change of heart, it was too late to save his marriage, which ended in a bitter divorce. Trying to move on with life and grow in his walk with God, he eventually dove into his career full time as a marine biologist, remaining in Nevada as his home base, but traveling wherever his job took him. Though lonely at times, his bad experience with marriage left him satisfied with not ever searching for love again.
